Sockeye formed in 1987 when The Bart broke up. In those early days, four college friends made miserable, pointless music that no one listened to. Soon, the line up changed to include three of the four permanent members of the band. Within a couple years, the final and fourth member became permanent and the band continued to suck, but in different ways. Sucking became a profession for Sockeye and, by all accounts, the band perfected the art. The last recording session took place in 1998, but the boys reunited for a single performance at the end of 2002. Sockeye is from space and they have eggs in their pants.
